Ondansetron + Omeprazole Tablets come with the branding “GENSET-O” and treat vomiting and nausea mostly after cancer chemotherapy, radiation treatment, or surgery. It may also be prescribed for other diseases like Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and ulcers in the stomach or intestine. Nausea is an uncomfortable sensation in which a person may get a desire or need to vomit while vomiting is the process through which the contents of the stomach are expelled, by force and voluntarily or involuntarily through the mouth. 

Ondansetron + Omeprazole Tablets is a combination medication of Omeprazole which is a PPI and Ondansetron which is an antiemetic. For instance, omeprazole inhibits the amount of acid produced in the stomach and further prevents it from rising into the oesophagus. Ondansetron belongs to the group of selective serotonin antagonists of the central action that exert an inhibitory effect on the brain’s Chemoreceptor trigger zone (CTZ).
